HireThat is a new peer-to-peer rental market platform, conveniently available on mobile devices utilising Apple iOS and Android.

No scam alert here! We’ve partnered with Stripe to verify all members before they are able to use our platform and successfully lend or rent items.

Renters are those who rent items from owners.
HireThat costs Zero, Nada, Zilch. It’s completely free to download. The only fee we take is a 20% commission fee from each rental transaction. This assists us with maintaining our platform and supporting the HireThat community.
Download the HireThat app from the app store on your mobile device. Open the app and create an account using your mobile number. Complete your profile by providing your personal information, including your name, contact details, and a profile picture.
Create a listing for the item you want to lend on the app's marketplace. Include detailed information about the item, including its condition, features, and any restrictions on its use.
Set a price for the item and specify the duration of the loan. You can also include any additional fees, such as cleaning or damage charges, in your listing.
Wait for interested borrowers to contact you through the app. You can review their ratings and reviews to make sure they're reliable and trustworthy.
Once you've agreed on the terms with a borrower, confirm the booking and arrange for the item to be picked up
Nominate an account you'd like payment made to. You can do this in the 'Manage Bank Account' section of your profile on the app.

Take photos of your items and have documentation of the current state including known issues before each rental so you have evidence of their condition.
Any disputes between you and the renter will be dealt with in accordance with our Dispute Resolution Policy.
If an item is not returned or lost, you are encouraged to file a theft report as per your local state guidelines.

Search for the item you want to hire on the app's marketplace. Use keywords and filters to narrow down your options and find the perfect item for your needs.
Once you've found the item you want to hire, read the item's description and check the owner's ratings and reviews to make sure they're reliable.
Once you've agreed on the terms, send a request, wait for approval from the lender and pay for the hire through the app. You may need to provide a deposit, which will be refunded to you once you return the item in good condition. You can then arrange to pick up the item.
Most definitely, just submit a new request for the additional period before the scheduled end date of the initial booking. This new request, if accepted, will be considered a separate booking.
You will be charged on the first day of your scheduled rental period.
If you think you may be late returning your item, let the lender know as soon as possible. This may or may not incur late fees.
Once your booking has been accepted and payment made, arrange a time and place with the lender to pick up your item. Easy!
